Snow Creek Ski Area is owned by Vail Resorts. The Snow Creek Ski Patrol is a not for profit organization and member of the National Ski Patrol System, with the objective to ensure that the skiers, snowboarders, snow tubers, and patrons at Snow Creek Ski Area in Weston, MO, are able to enjoy winter activities safely.

The Patrol is comprised of both volunteer and paid patrollers that are dedicated to protecting the safety of the guests of the resort. We provide rapid outdoor emergency care to those injured at the resort and provide seamless transport off the mountain safely. The Patrol will also provide first-aid support for summer activities which in the past has included the MS-150 Bike Race, Tough Mudder obstacle course, and of course that time when the Kansas City Power & Light District decided to host a snowboard Jam in downtown Kansas City.

The Snow Creek Ski Patrol has approximately 50 highly medically trained members who dedicate their time, so that others may enjoy the beautiful resort and outdoor winter sports. Our ski patrollers are members of the National Ski Patrol and continually train to ensure that the Snow Creek Ski Patrol provides exceptional emergency medical care.

Join the Snow Creek Ski Patrol

We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Volunteer Patrollers. As a Volunteer Patroller, you’ll work alongside Vail Resort Employee Patrollers, providing essential support on the slopes.

Many of our Volunteer Patrollers transition into Employee Patroller roles as positions become available, making this a great opportunity to gain valuable experience, contribute to the safety of our mountain, and grow within the Snow Creek Ski Patrol community.
