SUMMARY:Lift Evacuation - Volunteers
DESCRIPTION:Prepare for an intensive and hands-on Chair Lift Evacuation Training day! \n\nArrival: Arrive at 8:00. Get checked in\, select a harness and helmet\, and get reacquainted with the equipment while staff set up training for the day. A Pot-Luck breakfast will be provided.\nStart Time: Training begins promptly at 9:00 AM on the patio. Please ensure you arrive early to complete equipment drop-off and be ready to start on time.\nEnd Time: Training will conclude at 5:00 PM.\n\n\nEquipment Drop-Off: \n\nDrop off your equipment in the rental area before 9:00 AM for inspection.\nEnsure your name and employee number are clearly marked on all equipment.\n\n\nWhat to Bring: \n\nPot Luck Breakfast: Bring a breakfast item to put on the table to share with the group\nClothing: Dress for a full day outdoors. Be prepared for varying weather conditions.\nGear:\n\nSki helmet (to be worn on the ground).\nWork gloves (for handling ropes).\nWeather-appropriate gloves.\nWeather-appropriate clothing. Often this training is cold\, many people will wear a complete uniform.\n\n\nLunch & Snacks:\n\nBring your own lunch\, as the lunch break will be brief.\nPack snacks and drinks to stay energized throughout the day.\n\n\nDinner\n\nDinner at Riverwood Winery (Saturday) Omally’s (Sunday) will follow this event.
