
Prepare for an intensive and hands-on Chair Lift Evacuation Training day!
- Arrival: Arrive at 8:00. Get checked in, select a harness and helmet, and get reacquainted with the equipment while staff set up training for the day. A Pot-Luck breakfast will be provided.
- Start Time: Training begins promptly at 9:00 AM on the patio. Please ensure you arrive early to complete equipment drop-off and be ready to start on time.
- End Time: Training will conclude at 5:00 PM.
Equipment Drop-Off:
- Drop off your equipment in the rental area before 9:00 AM for inspection.
- Ensure your name and employee number are clearly marked on all equipment.
What to Bring:
- Pot Luck Breakfast: Bring a breakfast item to put on the table to share with the group
- Clothing: Dress for a full day outdoors. Be prepared for varying weather conditions.
- Gear:
- Ski helmet (to be worn on the ground).
- Work gloves (for handling ropes).
- Weather-appropriate gloves.
- Weather-appropriate clothing. Often this training is cold, many people will wear a complete uniform.
- Lunch & Snacks:
- Bring your own lunch, as the lunch break will be brief.
- Pack snacks and drinks to stay energized throughout the day.
- Dinner
- Dinner at O’Mally’s will follow this event. All patrollers are invited.
Expectations:
- Come with an open mind, a willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic.
- Be prepared for an exciting day of expanding your rescue skills and knowledge.
